Tax Exempt - How much is my fee?
To estimate your fee, use our Fee Calculator.
Tax-exempt organizations are being asked to help pay just a portion of the law enforcement budget for services in the unincorporated area. Sales tax still funds 40% of the budget, and the qualifying organizations remain exempt from sales tax and property tax. The fee for tax-exempt entities is based on their classification and the number of employees.
You will receive three bills in 2011 (January, April, and July) that are payable within 30 days. After 30 days, we will assess a 10% late payment penalty. In an attempt to hold down the fee for all, there is no discount for a prepayment or early payment.
