Home Owners - How much is my fee?

Police usage data show that homeowners use police less often than a bar or club, for example. That’s why the fee for residential homeowners is less than the charge to businesses and apartments. To learn more about why a fee is necessary, please read Why the Fee?

To give you perspective, the average police service call cost about $312. Homeowners will pay $162 per year for the fee, a little more than half the cost of one service call.

You will receive three bills in 2011 (January, April, and July) that are payable within 30 days. After 30 days, we will assess a 10% late payment penalty. In an attempt to hold down the fee for all, there is no discount for a prepayment or early payment.
